Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a fee to use the AADS speaker matching service?
No. AADS does not charge event organizers a placement or referral fee. The matching service is provided as part of AADS's mission to advance dental education. Speaker honoraria are negotiated directly between you and the speaker.
How long does it take to receive speaker recommendations?
An AADS team member will follow up within 3 business days of receiving your request. For urgent requests (events within 30 days), please note that in the additional information field and we will prioritize your request.
Can I request a specific speaker from the directory?
Yes. If you have already browsed the Speaker Directory and identified a speaker you are interested in, you can note their name in the additional information field of the request form. We will facilitate the introduction.
Do all AADS speakers hold the CDS designation?
Not all AADS members hold the CDS designation — the directory includes both Associate Members and CDS-certified speakers. You can filter by certification status in the Speaker Directory or specify your preference in the request form.
Does AADS handle speaker contracts and logistics?
AADS facilitates the introduction between event organizers and speakers. Contract negotiation, honoraria, travel logistics, and content agreements are handled directly between you and the speaker. AADS does not act as a speakers bureau or booking agent.
